What to know about Theegala
The American golfer was a successful amateur golfer - winning the Southwestern Invitational, the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, and the Australian Master of the Amateurs.
Theegala turned professional in 2020 and he has since won two tournaments including the 2022 QBE Shootout (with his compatriot Tom Hoge).

The Orange, Carlifonia-born golfer was in action at the recent 2024 Tour Championship where he came close to winning it as he finished second.
Theegala is currently ranked 12th on the Official World Golf Rankings and his best OWGR ranking is 11th.

The 26-year-old earned his first official PGA Tour victory at the Procore Championship, finishing at −21 to secure a two-shot victory.
Having finished second behind world number one Scottie Scheffler at the Tour Championship, Theegala will be confident of successfully retaining the Procore Championship title.
